Online trading platforms yet to get started on windows Vista
Windows Vista is an operating systems used in personal computers, including home and business desktops, notebook computers and tablet PC. Vista was released worldwide to the general public, and was made available for purchase and downloading from Microsoft’s website.
The release of Windows Vista comes more than five years after the introduction of its predecessor, Windows XP, making it the longest time span between two releases of Microsoft Windows.
Religare Securities head-Internet trading Gurpeet Sidana said that they faced some problems with Windows Vista, but all the problems had been settled. He said that all they had to do was to change some minor settings while downloading the trading online software. He also said that their customer care had been trained to deal with that snag.
Microsoft India director-windows client Rishi Srivastava said that Microsoft had been working closely with partners much before the launch of windows Vista to ensure application and device compatibility. He said that the majority of the applications work with the new operating system with 1600 applications already certified. He added that more than 2.1 million devices and peripherals in the market currently work with Windows Vista.
