Microsoft developes advanced PC data protection:
Microsoft India Development centre (MSIDC) has developed an advanced version of data protection manager, which will have more advanced recovery features than the older version.
Microsoft India Development centre vice-president and and managing director Srini Koppolu said that the Data protection Manager 2.4 provides more reliable Windows backup and recovery delivering continuous data protectionfor Microsoft application and file servers using seamlessly integrated disk media. He saud that the DPM V2 also supports Exchange, SQL, sharePoint and Virtual Servers.
Mr.Srini was speaking at TechXchange, an International programme between Hydrabad based Microsoft India Development Centre and Bangalore based Microsoft Research India, held at Microsoft campus in Hydrabad. Both the Microsoft centres have been collaborating on productisation of innovations.
